Job summary

U-Haul Co. of South Carolina in Mundelein, IL is seeking a Customer Service Representative. You will assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services, and use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.

You will move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, inspect equipment, and educate customers on products. The role includes on-the-job education and a pay range of $15.00 to $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to assist customers and operate equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Inspect equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring; propane fill and forklift use as certified.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
