Customer Service Delivery Driver (Finance)

Serve as a brand ambassador, providing excellent customer service while delivering customer orders to the home. Drive a company delivery vehicle demonstrating safe, efficient driving behavior and adhering to Kroger's driving standards. Minimum Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must pass an annual DOT medical exam
• Good driving record
• Ability to operate a delivery van and handheld tablet device
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodation
• At least 21 years old
• May require chauffeur's license in some states

Preferred Experience/Education:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Customer service experience
• Delivery driver experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver orders to customers while providing excellent service
• Act as a brand ambassador, explaining Kroger’s delivery process
• Maintain professionalism and personal presentation
• Drive safely according to Kroger standards
• Ensure timely and intact delivery of orders
• Maintain communication with customers regarding delivery status
• Accurately record deliveries
• Assist fellow drivers when needed
• Monitor and record temperature of goods to comply with safety regulations
• Handle products safely, report issues such as breakages or contamination
• Conduct pre-inspection of the vehicle and report defects
• Operate technology devices for mapping and customer interaction
• Perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
