Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional service to guests and resolve questions or concerns.
• Handle cash office tasks: count drawers, prepare deposits, verify cash balances, maintain records.
• Follow cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy, security, and compliance.
• Operate cash registers and process transactions (cash, credit, digital payments).
• Scan items, verify pricing, and ensure accurate totals while keeping checkout speeds efficient.
• Provide change, receipts, and handle returns/exchanges per policy.
• Assist front-end operations including register support and bagging.
• Maintain organization and security of cash, safe, and cash office areas.
• Report discrepancies, shortages, or overages promptly.
• Communicate with leadership and teammates about cash flow and operational needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow company policies, loss prevention practices, and safety standards.
• Collaborate across departments to support store operations and guest satisfaction.
• Stay productive during slower periods by assisting with front-end or administrative tasks.
