Job summary

Smart & Final is seeking a Service Clerk at our Antioch location. You will help customers, manage carts, check prices, and assist with loading merchandise into vehicles. The role includes keeping front and back areas clean and organized to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Read and write English; interact with the public and coworkers.
• Ability to read simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Lift and carry up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Collect and organize shopping carts within the store and retrieve carts from parking lot.
• Assist customers with loading merchandise into carts and loading into their vehicles.
• Check retail prices on shelf for check stand personnel.
• Return merchandise to shelves and tidy aisles; face and stock items.
• Maintain cleanliness at store entrance; sweep, mop and trash removal.
• Keep restrooms clean and restocked as needed.
