The Kroger Co. in The Dalles, OR is seeking a front-end associate to assist customers, process sales, and uphold the company values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

You will perform cashier duties, support the Customer Service Desk, maintain checkout area cleanliness, and help with store accounting tasks while delivering friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least six months cashier experience at Customer Service Desk.
• Age requirements: 18+ (19+ in Idaho/Alaska if selling tobacco).
• Ability to pass drug test.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work weekends regularly, all shifts, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to organize/prioritize tasks and maintain accuracy.

Responsabilités

• Deliver and encourage excellent customer service.
• Perform cashier functions: open/close register, ring sales, complete transactions, bag merchandise, and manage produce codes.
• Maintain cleanliness of checkstand area.
• Answer phones and comply with corporate policies.
• Support store initiatives and promote Company programs.
