Responsibilities

• Deliver and encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Perform cashier functions, including opening/closing register, ringing sales and processing transactions.
• Complete file maintenance log for price discrepancies.
• Maintain cleanliness of checkstand area to standards.
• Answer telephones and comply with corporate policies.
• Promote and follow Kroger initiatives.
• Verify and remove Electronic Article Surveillance tags at sale.
• Respond to EAS pedestal activations as needed.
• Maintain all store accounting functions and prepare bank deposits of excess funds.
