Job summary

ShopRite of West Milford is hiring a CSA/Carts Clerk (Inserra NJ) to deliver friendly, efficient service, collect/return carts, and assist customers with groceries. The role emphasizes safety, presentation, and efficiency in a high-volume front-end environment.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, keeping aisles clean, removing debris from carts, and returning carts to proper locations while adhering to company policies and time- attendance rules.

Qualifications

• Must proficiently read, write, speak English.
• Able to stand/walk for full shifts.
• Able to lift 25 lbs on regular basis and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Tolerate dust and cleaning agents during duties.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Work cooperatively with others and follow schedules.
• Maintain punctual and regular attendance, overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, neat, safe work/shopping environment.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Remove debris from carts and collect empty carts.
• Return carts to proper locations and assist customers as needed.
• Handle damaged goods per company policy, especially refrigerated items.
• Adhere to safety and QA standards and wear required PPE.
