ShopRite of Hamilton Plaza in Hamilton Township, NJ is seeking a CSA/Carts Clerk to deliver excellent customer service and manage cart retrieval and assistance for customers as needed.

The role emphasizes safety, friendliness, presentation, and efficiency in daily store operations, with responsibilities including greeting customers, maintaining a clean environment, and handling carts and merchandise in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak English fluently and understand instructions.
• Stand/walk for the full shift and lift up to 25 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Provide friendly, helpful service to customers and work cooperatively with others.
• Must be able to work all scheduled shifts and follow attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, safe work/shopping environment.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Collect and return shopping carts from the parking lot and assist customers as needed.
• Handle damaged or return-to-stock items according to policy, with priority for perishables.
• Follow QA hand washing standards and safety guidelines.
