Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a Customer Service and Billing Support role to provide courteous service, answer inquiries, and process routine billing tasks from a Boston office.

The position requires a High School Diploma/GED and at least one year of related experience, with strong English communication, math, and MS Word/Excel skills. Hours may vary to cover 24-hour service with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and comprehend English.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle figures accurately.
• Proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls and emails regarding service, operation or maintenance.
• Process payments and post to customer accounts.
• Prepare and correct meter readings and billing as needed.
• Set up new accounts and process refunds/transfers.
• Enter service requests and start/stop service orders.
• Create, edit and distribute routine reports and correspondence.
• Maintain organized files for easy retrieval and assist field crews.
