Summary
This position is responsible for providing outstanding customer service to a diverse clientele by performing administrative and reception duties at the wellness and fitness facility. Responsibilities include managing front desk and juice bar operations, delivering excellent service to members, patients, and guests to ensure retention. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in a high-volume service environment, with cash register experience preferred. Certification in BCLS is required within 90 days of employment.
Key skills include cashiering, point of sale, cash management, reconciliation, sales, marketing, and data management systems. The role requires understanding of all operational aspects of the center, including filing, phone work, billing, memberships, and computer systems. Prospecting, sales, follow-up, and communication skills are essential for membership growth and customer engagement. The ability to work a flexible schedule and perform light to moderate cleaning and facility preparations is also necessary. Physical requirements include standing for long periods, bending, stooping, lifting up to 40 pounds, and good manual dexterity. Some occupational exposures may occur.
