Responsibilities include:
- Modeling and delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
- Registering sales on assigned cash register, providing courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
Customer Experience
- Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolve issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
- Share customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
Operations
- Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
- Recommend items for sale and suggest trade-up or companion items.
- Handle transactions, including voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of counters and shelves, take inventory, and ensure proper product placement.
- Implement asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
- Ensure compliance with laws regarding regulated products.
- Construct and maintain displays, assist with stock rotation, and restocking.
- Operate store systems and equipment.
- Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photos and promotional products.
- Handle web pick-up orders and assist with store maintenance.
- Adhere to company policies, maintain respectful relationships, and complete assigned tasks.
Training & Personal Development
- Attend training and complete required programs.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Prefer six months of retail experience and prior Walgreens experience.
