Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to join our Buford, GA store. You will help with daily store operations, merchandising, and assisting customers with a friendly, knowledgeable approach.

You’ll be trained to work the cash register and can switch to front-end duties as needed. The role emphasizes providing a clean, welcoming environment, strong customer service, accuracy in cash handling, and teamwork with leaders and associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service in retail or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations, from merchandising to customer support.
• Cross-train to support cash register and front-end duties as needed.
• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, process freight safely.
• Merchandise, stock, and maintain clean, presentable areas including bathrooms.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment and handle cash with integrity.
• Support leaders and participate in other duties as assigned.
