Job summary

Duncan-Parnell Inc. Savannah is seeking a Customer Service Associate to support daily branch operations, assist customers at the front counter, answer calls, bill orders in the ERP system, and manage the retail area with accuracy.

The role involves coordinating with multiple branches, maintaining pricing and signage, handling shipping duties, and performing monthly inventory counts, while delivering friendly and efficient service.

Qualifications

• General computer skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be dependable and arrive at work on time.
• Must have a positive and helpful attitude.
• Willingness to learn and attention to detail.
• Independent worker with ability to be resourceful and work with minimal guidance after training.
• Capable of prospecting new customers for business; construction industry knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with enthusiasm and take care of requests at the front counter.
• Answer phone and emails in a courteous, timely manner.
• Maintain communication with employees in different branches.
• Bill all orders in the ERP system (P21) as well as other daily electronic entries.
• Notify customers when orders are ready.
• Restock retail area when stock is low and update pricing/signage as needed.
• Maintain a clean environment for customers and employees.
• Ship occasional orders and handle shipping/receiving of inventory.
• Print and bind construction documents as needed.
• Monthly inventory counts.
