Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate II in Oldtown, Idaho. You will assist with daily store operations, from merchandising to supporting customers, and be cross-trained to support cash registers and front-end duties.

Responsibilities include receiving merchandise, stocking, maintaining store cleanliness, handling transactions, and ensuring a safe, friendly environment for customers and colleagues. Prior retail or customer service experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight in a safe manner.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Assisting with cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neatness.
• Maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Managing sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
