Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Seat Pleasant, Maryland, is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate II to join our team. You will assist customers, stock merchandise, and help maintain a clean, welcoming store environment.

Responsibilities include handling transactions, protecting assets, and supporting store operations. The role requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior retail or service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hospitality, grocery or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operating documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and carrying.
• Strong customer service, organization, and communication skills required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely.
• Merchandise and stock shelves as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including restrooms, floors, and trash.
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and team members.
• Handle sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
