Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

The role requires strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills in a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, restocking, and maintaining safety and professionalism for customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail or related fields preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operations documents.
• Physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking/standing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain store cleanliness and restock merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Follow instructions and operational documents.
• Other duties as assigned.
