Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Georgia LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process sales at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

The role requires strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform various store duties. This is a part-time, on-site position at Powder Springs, GA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain the cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
