Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is hiring a Customer Service Associate in Texas. You will welcome customers, help them find products, and provide friendly assistance to solve home improvement challenges.

The role offers opportunities to load and stock merchandise as needed and to learn across departments. Requirements include basic computer and retail tech use, reading/writing arithmetic, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. A bilingual candidate is preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer to input, access, modify, or output information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Able to stand for long periods and perform duties.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock shelves and replenish supplies as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time.
• Cross-train in other store areas to enhance customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in department based on customer needs (e.g., paint, pipes, wood, drywall).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
