Family Dollar is hiring a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions, and keep the store stocked and clean. The role emphasizes friendly, professional customer interactions and security of cash and assets.

Candidates with a high school diploma and prior retail or service experience are preferred. The position is part-time and on-site at our Dexter, ME location, offering a supportive team and daily customer contact.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Unload trucks and stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and friendly store environment.
