SpeedPro Towson in Timonium, MD is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Customer Service & Print Project Coordinator. You will greet clients, answer calls, build simple estimates, and prep customer files for print production.

The role blends client interaction with hands-on file prep using Adobe Illustrator and Acrobat. You’ll work with a small team, learn the print workflow, and coordinate timelines between clients and production.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and emails, and greet clients who visit the studio in person.
• Understand client needs and translate them into simple, accurate cost estimates.
• Review files submitted by customers for print-readiness: check resolution, color mode, bleed, and overall quality.
• Edit and prepare files for production, including adding cut lines/contours for vinyl and wrap jobs.
• Communicate with clients about file issues, proofs, and revisions.
• Coordinate timelines between clients and the production team so jobs stay on schedule.
• Maintain accurate records of orders, estimates, and client communication.
• Occasionally visit client sites for measurements, installs, or account check-ins.

About the Role

SpeedPro Towson, located in Timonium, MD, creates large-format graphics — vehicle wraps, signage, banners, and trade show displays — for businesses across the Baltimore area. We're a small team that knows our clients by name, and every project that comes through our door gets personal attention from start to finish. We're looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Customer Service & Print Project Coordinator to be the face and voice of our studio. This person will greet clients, answer the phones, build simple estimates, and prepare customer-submitted files for print production. This is a hybrid role: about half relationship-building and sales support, half hands-on technical file work — so we need someone who is comfortable on the phone with a client and is comfortable with, or eager to learn, Adobe Illustrator and Acrobat for cleaning up print files.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Strong customer service skills — warm, clear communicator in person, by phone, and in writing
• Comfortable with computers and eager to learn Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat for print file prep (we'll train you)
• Comfortable with basic math for building estimates and quotes
• Organized and able to juggle multiple client requests and deadlines at once
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (occasional off-site client visits)
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college or trade training a plus
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs (rolls of vinyl and media) and stand for extended periods during production-floor and on-site work

Nice to have (not required)

• Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator (vector editing, cut lines, file cleanup) and Acrobat (reviewing PDFs, preflight basics)
• Prior experience in a print shop, sign shop, or wide-format graphics business
• Familiarity with large-format printing, vinyl, or vehicle wrap materials
• Experience with CRM or order-management software

Growth & Training

You don't need to walk in an expert. We provide hands‑on training in Adobe Illustrator and Acrobat file prep — if you're a strong communicator with basic tech comfort, we'll teach you the print side. You'll also get cross‑training on our production floor (large-format printers, laminators, cutters) so you understand how every job comes together. In a small studio, your work is visible every day, and you'll build practical, in-demand skills in design software, print production, and client management.

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time, in-studio position in Timonium, MD
• Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. — no weekends
• Pay: $18–$23/hour, depending on experience

2027 Benefit Details

• SIMPLE IRA retirement plan with company matching — starting January 1, 2027, we are implementing a SIMPLE IRA plan with a pre‑tax company matching contribution that is 100% yours (fully vested) immediately.
