Job summary

SpeedPro Buford is seeking a Production Manager to oversee the printing and production of wide-format specialty printing products. This role is essential for ensuring high-quality output and efficient use of materials to support the franchise's profitability.

The ideal candidate will possess 2+ years of experience in vehicle graphics design, knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, and a degree in graphic design (or similar). A passion for production and leadership is crucial.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of designing/working with vehicle graphics and templates.
• Experience with large-format printers, laminators, plotters, and finishing.
• Strong knowledge in artwork layout, design, and proofing.

The Production Manager reports directly to the SpeedPro studio owner and is primarily responsible for producing various wide‑format specialty printing products. This position plays a critical role in the franchise’s profit and margin potential through outstanding performance in fast turn‑around times, high‑quality product output, and efficiency with materials to minimize waste.

Functions

• Lead the printing and production of client orders
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator) and Large Format RIP software (preferably Onyx) preferred
• Sign Production and Finishing (printer/cutter operations, laminating, taping, prepping jobs for shipping and simple installations).
• Inspect customer files, provide digital proofs, and make the graphics print‑ready
• This role is a production focused role. However, Candidate must be knowledgeable in artwork layout, basic design and proofing; and prepping files for production
• Operate and maintain large‑format printers, laminators, and plotters
• Conduct inventory and procurement
  • The team can help with the actual ordering of materials, so long as you provide a list of what is needed
• Graphic design services (unless outsourced)
• Smaller graphic installations
• Unloading/unpacking deliveries to the studio
• Vehicle inspections and measurements; performing site surveys
• Packing, labeling, and shipping completed jobs; making deliveries
• Utilization of CoreBridge software for estimates/quotes
• General sign installation experience and or a construction background are a plus
• Full Time Position with Competitive Wages and Benefits (compensation dependent on experience)

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design (or similar program)
