Job summary

The Customer Service & Logistics Manager at Cremer North America in Cincinnati leads the customer service and logistics team, ensuring timely, accurate order fulfillment and scalable processes.

You will collaborate daily with Sales, Operations, Logistics and Accounting, and drive KPI achievement while developing reports using the CNA ERP system.

A BA/BS in business and 5–7 years of leadership in a related function are required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in business or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years leading a high-volume customer service/logistics function.
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Deep understanding of CNA ERP system and reporting.
• Collaborate daily with Sales, Operations, Logistics and Accounting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 6–10 Customer Service and Logistics Specialists.
• Develop scalable processes for order fulfillment and shipping.
• Ensure safe, reliable, and cost-controlled transportation.
• Analyze reports and KPIs to drive performance improvements.
• Lead cross-functional weekly reviews and department huddles.
• Support procurement and material planning as needed.
• Maintain compliance with site safety and environmental rules.

the Customer Service & Logistics Manager is responsible for the Customer Service and Logistics team and the timely and accurate execution of all customer orders of the business. The Customer Service & Logistics Manager is responsible for creating and improving scalable systems and processes for all aspects of Customer Service and Logistics. Understanding the specifics of products of Cremer North America (CNA) as well as the business needs of their customer is essential.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education, Credentials, Licenses:

B.A. or B.S degree in a Business related discipline or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Kind & Length of Experience:

• 5 to 7 years of demonstrated experience managing or supervising a high transactional volume customer focused department with emphasis on order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Excellent organizational skills and able to handle multiple priorities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible and able to change direction as needed or requested.
• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) data entry or system experience
• Able to meet deadlines.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of the CNA Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and will produce and analyze reports as needed.
• Ability to interact daily with all elements of the business including but not limited to; Sales, Operations, Logistics and Accounting.

PERFORMANCE MEASURES AND STANDARDS

• Supervise, develop, and direct activities of 6-10 Customer Service and Logistics Specialists.
• Assess, develop, and implement process improvements across the department that are scalable
• Understand specific customer requirements.
• Communicate effectively both externally and internally.
• Ensure safe, reliable, and cost controlled transportation of goods.
• Manage and set department and company KPI’s
• Primary responsibilities exceeding customer expectations.
• Managing cross functional weekly Packaging Product Review meeting
• Lead and improve department huddles
• Analyze or produce reports for department and business leaders.
• Assist Procurement of raw material.
• In your absence you are responsible to ensure that the tasks assigned to the absentee is adequately covered by them or trained personnel. As a Supervisor or Manager, it is your responsibility to ensure that all activities are managed appropriately in an absence of any associate that reports to you.
• Develop and follow Leader Standard Work with Direct Supervisor
• Adhere to all Site Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security Requirements, Local, State, and Federal Regulations
• Maintain Hazardous waste in accordance to all Local, State, and Federal Regulations
• Other duties as required
