Job summary

CME Corp, headquartered in Rhode Island, is seeking a Fulfillment Center Manager to lead warehousing, inventory, equipment staging, and Direct to Site operations across Grain Valley, MO and other locations. Based in Grain Valley, you will travel to Salt Lake City, Denver, New Orleans, and Memphis as openings occur, guiding teams with a hands-on yet remote-friendly leadership style.

Salary Range: $75,000.00 To $79,000.00 Annually

Are you a hands-on operations leader who can build strong teams across multiple locations? CME Corp is seeking a Fulfillment Center Manager to lead warehousing, inventory, equipment staging, and Direct to Site (DTS) operations throughout an assigned network of Fulfillment Centers.

Based in Grain Valley, Missouri, this position carries core operational responsibilities extending across Grain Valley, Salt Lake City, Denver, New Orleans, and Memphis (Memphis scheduled to open in FY2027). The role combines hands-on local leadership with disciplined remote management and routine periodic travel to assigned locations.

The Fulfillment Center Manager will drive consistence and accountability to operating standards, maintain visibility into site performance, and ensure every location is ready to support CME customers. This position reports to the DTS Program Manager.

Your Day-to-Day

As CME’s Fulfillment Center Manager, you will oversee operations across an assigned network of Fulfillment Centers while leading teams, maintaining operational standards, and supporting customer commitments.

• Own daily operational performance across existing Fulfillment Centers in Grain Valley, Salt Lake City, Denver and New Orleans, as well as Memphis when it opens in FY2027.
• Lead warehouse and DTS personnel through clear expectations, structured communication, coaching, documented follow-up, and performance accountability.
• Manage staffing, workload, training, performance, and employee development across assigned locations.
• Create an inclusive, connected team culture that reinforces ownership, communication, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Travel routinely to assigned locations to inspect operations, support employees, address risks, standardize processes, and maintain strong local engagement.

Warehouse, Inventory & DTS Operations

• Manage receiving, storage, picking, staging, shipping, inventory control, equipment handling, and related warehouse activities.
• Inspect, verify, accept, or reject incoming shipments and ensure product movement is accurately documented in CME systems.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through disciplined transactions, cycle counts, physical inventories where applicable, and prompt discrepancy resolution.
• Oversee the preparation, assembly, picking, and staging of medical equipment for DTS deliveries and installations.
• Ensure equipment and materials are complete, accurate, operationally ready, and staged on time for customer commitments.

Operational Standards & Performance

• Use ERP data, dashboards, virtual collaboration tools, and site-level metrics to maintain remote visibility and drive fact-based decisions.
• Implement, train, and audit SOPs, operating standards, and corrective action plans consistently across the Fulfillment Center network.
• Monitor labor, overtime, travel, supplies, repairs, third-party labor, warehouse resources, and other controllable operating expenses.

Facility & Safety Oversight

• Maintain facility organization, cleanliness, security, building upkeep, required documentation, and response to maintenance issues and alarms.
• Ensure compliance with company safety requirements and the safe use of forklifts, warehouse equipment, hand tools, and power tools.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with Project Management, DTS, Distribution Operations, Inventory Control, Returns, Discrepancies, Sales, Purchasing, Customer Service, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, and other company departments to support employees, projects, customers, and business priorities.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory or management level.
• Demonstrated ability to lead employees, establish accountability, and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage remote or geographically dispersed employees through structured communication, performance metrics, coaching, and follow-through.
• Experience working within a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or comparable inventory platform.
• Strong technical fluency with warehouse systems, Microsoft Office suite, Teams, dashboards, web-based tools, and field-service platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with employees and leaders at all levels.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with careful attention to detail.
• Ability and willingness to travel routinely by air and ground to assigned Fulfillment Centers and respond to operational needs as conditions dictate.
• Ability to work flexible hours based on operational requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physical warehouse activities when needed.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with warehouse equipment, hand tools, and power tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience managing multiple facilities, remote teams, or regional operations in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or related operations experience.
• Experience with field-service, delivery, installation, or project-staging operations.
• Healthcare supply chain or medical equipment experience.
• Experience with process improvement, SOP implementation, operational auditing, and cost control.
