Customer Service Advisor

Location: United States

Pay: $12/hour. We use national and industry-specific survey data, external market rates, budget considerations, and current employee compensation to determine pay. Some roles may have variable pay.

The Opportunity:

Position responsibilities:

  1. Answering customer inquiries via phone, chat, and other electronic methods
  2. Responding to customer requests for product information and assistance
  3. Assisting customers with complaints and billing inquiries
  4. Resolving customer service issues in a timely and professional manner
  5. Utilizing computer technology to handle a high volume of calls
  6. Working closely with team leads, supervisors, and contact center managers to ensure customer satisfaction
  7. Adhering to call scripts and call center policies
  8. Compiling reports
  9. Managing customer interactions using provided Amazon Web Services (AWS) tools
The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, or combination of education and experience
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • A stable employment history
  • Willing to accept a temporary assignment
  • Ability to work full-time, 40 hours a week
  • Quiet, distraction-free work environment during scheduled shifts
  • Experience with internet browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari
  • Typing speed of at least 25 words per minute
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word and Excel
  • Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English (CEF C1 or above)
  • Reside within an approved state*
  • Ability to work from home with high-speed internet (Cable, Fiber, DSL)
  • Internet requirements: 40 Mbps download, 20 Mbps upload, 100ms ping or less, jitter 40ms or less, Wi-Fi permitted
  • Maintain required internet service and stability; wired connection recommended if instability occurs
