Responsibilities

• Welcome incoming customers, answer questions, identify needs, and recommend appropriate State Farm coverage.
• Use the agency CRM to contact leads quickly, track status, and schedule appointments for the agent or sales team.
• Assist with new business by gathering accurate information, preparing details, and helping prospects understand next steps.
• Help with account changes, billing questions, and policy reviews—looking for ways to improve coverage and pricing.
• Monitor renewal timelines, address concerns, and support retention efforts before policies renew.
• Keep lead/customer information organized and communicate clearly with the agent and team to ensure smooth handoffs.
• Track key sales/service metrics and share updates, opportunities, and improvement ideas.
• Support local events and campaigns that strengthen relationships and generate new leads, including referrals.
• Document interactions accurately and follow State Farm procedures, licensing, and disclosure requirements.

As a Customer Relations Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member with Laarnie Soma - State Farm Agent, you will help us deliver the kind of insurance experience people remember for the right reasons. This is a hands on role where you support clients, keep service running smoothly, and help our team stay one step ahead. In this role, you will support policy recommendations based on what clients actually need, handle inquiries with professionalism, coordinate with the team to maintain smooth workflows, and assist with the details that make our agency great. Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Sales Support Welcome incoming customers, answer questions, identify needs, and recommend appropriate State Farm coverage.
• Lead Follow-Up & Appointment Coordination Use the agency CRM to contact leads quickly, track status, and schedule appointments for the agent or sales team.
• Quoting & Policy Applications Assist with new business by gathering accurate information, preparing details, and helping prospects understand next steps.
• Policy Reviews, Updates & Billing Support Help with account changes, billing questions, and policy reviews—looking for ways to improve coverage and pricing.
• Retention & Renewal Support Monitor renewal timelines, address concerns, and support retention efforts before policies renew.
• Team Communication Keep lead/customer information organized and communicate clearly with the agent and team to ensure smooth handoffs.
• Metrics & Continuous Improvement Track key sales/service metrics and share updates, opportunities, and improvement ideas.
• Community Outreach Support local events and campaigns that strengthen relationships and generate new leads, including referrals.
• Compliance & Documentation Document interactions accurately and follow State Farm procedures, licensing, and disclosure requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and organization skills
• Exceptional Sales Skills (customer-focused persuasion, confident consultative conversations, and consistent follow-up)
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Prior experience in customer service, insurance sales, and/or administrative support preferred
• Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable state insurance licenses

Compensation $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
