Job summary

Fuyao seeks a Customer Liaison Engineer to provide feedback on quality and inventory at customer locations. You will prepare reports detailing defects, investigate issues, and help maintain customer satisfaction through professional communication.

The role involves regular visits to customers, organizing containment activities, and supporting root cause analysis with the engineering team. Lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Strong verbal and written communication with internal teams and customers.
• 1–3 years manufacturing experience or related training preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to stand long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Visit OEMs/Dealers to collect, analyze and negotiate rejected parts.
• Provide regular quality reports to FGA contacts and leadership.
• Pickup defective products for analysis as notified by customers.
• Organize containment activities and participate in trial builds with detailed documentation.
• Attend customer meetings and assist with root cause analysis.
