Job summary

ABB in the United States seeks a Quality Engineer to represent the Voice of the Customer, lead root cause analysis, and drive preventive and corrective actions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and coach colleagues to evaluate risks from a customer perspective. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering (mechanical preferred), knowledge of 5S, 8D, RCA, PPAP, and strong communication.

Work authorization in the U.S. is required.

• The ideal candidate should have at least a basic knowledge of 2 of the following principles and should be able to elaborate on the concepts: 5S, 8D Reports, RCA, PPAP.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead a team and work with cross-functional teams.
• Great communication skills and diplomacy to deal with our customers.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the United States.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $68,600 and $109,760 annually.
