Job summary

Bosch Rexroth is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer (CQE) to act as the primary liaison for customer quality issues in mobile hydraulics. You will investigate complaints, lead root-cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement with internal teams. Domestic and international travel up to 30% is expected.

The ideal candidate has a engineering or quality background and hands-on experience with 8D, APQP, and PPAP processes to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field.
• 3+ years of manufacturing, project management, and/or quality-focused projects.
• Proven experience in customer-facing roles resolving quality issues and driving improvements.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies: 8D, 5 Whys, FMEA, SPC, Control Plans, APQP, PPAP.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main point of contact for customer quality issues and communications.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and quality performance metrics.
• Support PPAP and other customer-specific quality requirements (APQP).
• Prepare and deliver quality reports, presentations, and metrics to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Travel to customer sites as needed (up to 30% annually).
