Job summary

Gexpro-Services is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer to join our Pensacola team. The role partners with global sales, commercial and local branches to apply quality tools and process improvements within an ISO9001-based QMS, driving better service, supplier productivity and delivery performance.

You will lead audits, manage non-conforming material, and advance corrective/preventive actions, while collaborating across customers, suppliers and leadership to meet goals and improve key metrics.

Qualifications

• BS technical degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in quality or related quality fields.
• Familiarity with ISO9001 and AS9100 standards.
• Experience using 8D and 5Why methodologies.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with external and internal customers, suppliers and leadership to meet goals and communicate performance.
• Develop and drive process consistency to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Manage non-conforming material, customer complaints, and CAPA processes for assigned sites.
• Prepare responses to customer-issued corrective actions.
• Lead internal and external ISO, AS, and customer audits.
• Execute key customer improvement projects to reduce defects and cycle time.
• Develop and implement ISO9001 and AS9100 compliant processes.
• Drive quality improvements using site metrics and governance.
• Lead cost of quality reduction initiatives for the area.
