Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer to own the VOC for quality and ensure top-tier customer experience. You will interact with sales, field application engineers and internal partners to align on quality issues and build strong customer relationships.

You will monitor SSD quality metrics, lead improvement efforts, apply electronics engineering insights, and use AI analytics to accelerate root cause analysis and proactive quality actions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Knowledge of SSD components: Memory, FW, System, ASIC, DRAM.
• Understanding semiconductor fabrication and backend assembly.
• Experience in Customer Quality, Supplier Quality, or Field Applications Engineering encouraged.
• Excellent presentation and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Voice Of the Customer (VOC) within Micron.
• Track and lead customer metrics for SSD quality and reliability.
• Apply engineering knowledge to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with customers and their SQE teams.
• Lead quality scorecard tracking and improvement efforts.
• Identify quality issues and foster customer relationships.
• Communicate customer issues to internal engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Leverage AI and analytics to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Prepare weekly quality data and represent Micron in reviews.
