Job summary

CJ Logistics America is hiring a Customer Operations Analyst in Des Plaines, IL. You will partner with customers to align expectations and drive operational performance, identifying opportunities to improve service and reduce costs during promotions and major events.

You will manage and execute customer promotions, provide reporting on carrier and consignee performance, and support invoicing processes. This hybrid role requires 4 days per week on-site and may include on-call weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3 years of experience in transportation or a service related position
• Strong skills in MS Excel

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve service into consignee and customer locations; create and implement solutions
• Provide reporting and actions using CJ tools for carrier performance, consignee performance, and volume spike impacts
• Respond to all Customer requests for information
• Facilitate regularly scheduled customer phone meetings, including updating customer action item registers
• Ensure customer promotions and events are communicated internally and executed flawlessly
• Manage performance to Retailer expectations
• Partner with CJL Warehouse and customer manufacturing shipping locations to ensure volumes can be supported
• Support Customer invoicing processes
• May be required to be on call and work as part of a Saturday rotation
• Perform other related job duties as assigned or required
