Job summary

Vylor, Inc. seeks a Customer Operation Coordinator for AgVenture to manage relationships with Independent Seed Companies, monitor supply signals, and optimize logistics.

You will coordinate forecasting, product quality, and allocations, while driving process improvements across multiple teams and systems. You will leverage SAP, Excel and Power BI to analyze demand and supply data, support orders, and ensure accurate invoicing and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Education – Bachelor's degree in Business or Agriculture preferred.
  • Experience – 2-3 years in sales, customer service and/or agriculture with leadership skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint; SAP a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level customer service on product supply using coaching culture.
  • Be the main contact on all supply-related topics to ISC in assigned area.
  • Proactively communicate on supply chain topics and integrate changes with field sales.
  • Evaluate POS contacts with effective questioning and problem resolution.
  • Promote best practices in Demand Plan, Supply, Invoice Integrity, and Shipping.

This position will be responsible for managing our relationships with our Independent Seed Companies. Monitor supply/demand signals, inventories, and product quality for multiple crops. Develop/coordinate supply and demand models, which may involve combinations of the following: forecasting seed production and utilization, monitoring/making decisions about seed quality/quality testing and available to sell quantities, help with the planning and executing of most efficient logistics plans that meet customer’s needs. Manage assigned processes from inception through completion and review, ensuring that business needs are met, and risk exposure is minimized. Identify problems, initiate corrective actions, and maintain regular communications with multiple groups inside and outside AgVenture. Develop and implement consistent business process improvements and systems that enhance AgVenture’s ability to develop and execute plans for all product lines. Participate in or lead cross-functional teams and assist various personnel with a wide range of analytical applications to improve the integration of the supply process with the processes of other functions with AgVenture.What You'll Do:General ResponsibilitiesProvide high-level customer service on product supply support utilizing a “coaching culture” to an assigned area at Sales Provider level on deadlines, supply information, and product reductions.Be the main contact on all supply related topics to the ISC in the assigned area. Proactively communicate on supply chain topics and successfully integrate changes with field sales.Evaluate each POS contact through effective questioning and problem resolution skills to effectively and efficiently resolve issues presentedPromote Business Unit direction, best practices and or initiatives surrounding all aspects of Demand Plan, Supply, Invoice Integrity, Product Placement, Shipping and ReturnsActively support teammates to ensure a high-level performance across the entire AgVenture team when requestedManage product allocationsGuide product moves, cuts/substitutions, and winter production product allocations with the direction of the teamManage product moves at the Point-of-Sale Level, cuts/substitutions, and winter production allocations with the guidance of teamProactively suggest and manage product substitutionManage/facilitate product swaps within and between Independent Seed CompaniesDrive “sell the plan” strategyDrive utilization of new and winter products (monitoring and communicating reports) Order ManagementUtilize the appropriate systems and reports to assist ISC in locating needed productsManage in-season orders (e.g. adding products, in field transfers vs plant deliveries)Manage sales orders for all product lines - analyzing orders to maximize salesPromote accurate invoices, transfer documentation and data transmissions to keep systems updatedProduct logistics & distributionBe the support contact for product distribution (e.g. shipping targets, collaboration with shipping coordinators)Manage special sales orders request according to business rules (e.g. probulk, multiple warehouses, direct ships)Assist in demand planningSupport summer package & treatment activityReview and check ISC demand plansDemonstrate implications of ISC demand plans on their product supplySupport system questionsSystems Knowledge/SupportUnderstand the SeedWare system and assist in supporting questions from the field.Work with all internal systems including SAP, Managed Supply, SharePoint, Excel, and Pivot tables.Continue to develop professionally by remaining current with new technologiesWhat You'll Need:Education - Bachelor's degree in Business or Agriculture is preferredExperience – 2-3 years related experience in sales, customer service and/or agriculture experience which includes leadership skills.Demonstrated knowledge of agriculture. Ability to learn basic product knowledge as it relates to the support of sales and customersPC experience with basic skills in multiple software applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SAP.
