Job summary

Vylor, Inc. seeks a Production Operator at our Corteva location to run process equipment safely and efficiently, following quality plans. You will collect data, assist with maintenance, and support warehousing tasks including forklift use.

The role emphasizes safety, data accuracy, and teamwork in a dynamic production environment. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, willingness to obtain GED if needed, and comfort with computers.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or willingness to obtain within one year of hire.
  • Ability to work a rotating shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays during peak times.
  • Comfortable using computers and basic software (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

  • Record data for continuous improvement and production records.
  • Support preventative maintenance activities and general repairs.
  • Lead or support safety programs across the site to enhance safety.

You’ll operate a variety of process equipment, use automated and computerized systems, and follow detailed quality plans and work instructions to support reliable production outcomes. This role contributes to continuous improvement through data collection, preventative maintenance support, and participation in warehousing, field, and harvest activities. Safety is central to everything we do, and you’ll help lead or support site safety initiatives that protect people, products, and performance.VISA Sponsorship is not available for this position.Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.This role will be on-site at the Corteva location.What You’ll Do:Run a variety of process equipment while adhering to our company’s robust safety policiesEnsure compliance with Quality Plan Work Instructions and Quality Plan requirementsCollect and record data for continuous improvement projects and production recordsSupport preventative maintenance (PM) and other general repair effortsLead or support a defined safety program to enhance safety across the siteAssist with warehousing activities including forklift operationUse automation and computerized systems to perform work tasks (HMI, computers, iPads, etc.)Potential to perform field management activities such as scouting, field maintenance, logistical planning, and maintain relationships with external partners (growers, contractors, etc.)Assist with harvest activities such as preparation, seed sampling, truck unloading, and other relevant processesVarious other duties as assignedEducation:High School Diploma/GED or are willing and able to obtain your GED within one year of hire as a condition of employmentWhat Skills You Need:Value health and safety!
