Job summary

Vylor, Inc. is hiring a SPRC Producibility Scientist-NA to advance seed production research and characterization through new agronomy and plant breeding technologies.

You will work across Production, Commercial and R&D teams to drive producibility objectives, coordinate field trials, and apply advanced data analytics. The role requires a masters in agronomy or related field with 5+ years of experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Agronomy, Agricultural research, or Ag technical field.
  • Demonstrated success in managing agronomic/research programs.
  • Strong record of innovation and applying new technology.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and organizational skills.
  • Results driven with ability to influence across functions.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and apply new agronomy technologies to seed production research objectives.
  • Represent Seed Production Research and Characterization and Global Seed Operations in field testing.
  • Identify gaps to improve cost, quality, and reliability of seed production.
  • Develop and execute research protocols and projects against science plans.
  • Analyze field data with attention to data quality and plot trials.

The SPRC Producibility Scientist- NA will identify, assess, and develop new scientific concepts and/or technologies to provide solutions that improve producibility and reduce variability in Vylor Seed Production. You will manage scientific, technical and data projects, coordinate with other professionals and support personnel within Production, Commercial and R&D to accomplish producibility objectives.
