Job summary

Edrington in the Americas seeks a Customer Marketing Assistant to drive in-market campaigns and product launches across the region, partnering with GTR Central and regional teams.

You will support field execution, relationships with retail partners, and events, with hybrid work and a 6-month fixed-term contract. The ideal candidate has FMCG marketing experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and willingness to travel across the Americas.

Qualifications

  • Marketing, customer marketing, or trade marketing experience in FMCG or premium brands.
  • Degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and attention to detail.
  • Analytical capability to interpret data and measure performance.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration across teams and external partners.
  • Experience supporting marketing campaigns, product launches, activations, or retail initiatives.
  • Good commercial awareness and understanding of marketing impact on business.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Fluency in English; Spanish is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel across the Americas.

Responsibilities

  • Support launch and activation of new products by providing market insights and coordinating field execution.
  • Build relationships with retail partners and store teams to grow brand visibility and sales.
  • Deliver retail execution across promotions, displays, and in-store visibility.
  • Monitor and evaluate marketing activations and provide insights for future campaigns.
  • Provide admin support to Marketing and Commercial teams, including PO processing and reporting.
  • Support growth initiatives across Brazil, including airport and border channels.
  • Plan and execute customer and consumer events with lead coordination for flawless delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring marketing programmes to life.

Embrace Excellence:

Reporting to the Customer Marketing Manager, GTR Americas, the Customer Marketing Assistant will play a key role in driving the success of our marketing initiatives across the Americas region. Working closely with Global Travel Retail (GTR) Central and Customer Marketing teams, Commercial Managers, and Regional and Domestic Marketing teams, you will help bring innovative campaigns and product launches to life. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the planning and execution of in-market marketing programmes, ensuring activities are delivered effectively and support commercial growth across the region.

Please note this is a 6 months FTC
Make an Impact:
  • Support the successful launch and activation of new products by providing market insights, coordinating field execution, and tracking campaign performance.
  • Build strong relationships with retail partners and store teams to identify opportunities that enhance brand visibility and drive sales.
  • Deliver outstanding retail execution across all promotional activities, permanent displays, and in-store visibility initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate marketing activations, capturing insights and recommendations to improve future campaigns.
  • Provide administrative support to the Customer Marketing and Commercial teams, including purchase orders, invoice processing, reporting, and POSM inventory management.
  • Support the delivery of growth initiatives across Brazil, including airport and border retail channels.
  • Help plan and execute customer and consumer events, taking a lead role in coordinating activities and ensuring flawless delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative marketing programmes and customer experiences to life.

Your Talent And Skills:
  • Experience in a marketing, customer marketing, trade marketing, sales support, or commercial role, ideally within FMCG, consumer goods, retail, luxury, or premium brands.
  • A degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Analytical capability, with confidence interpreting data and insights to support marketing decisions and measure performance.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and external partners.
  • Experience supporting marketing campaigns, product launches, customer activations, events, or retail initiatives.
  • Good commercial awareness and an understanding of how marketing activities drive brand and business performance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Fluency in English; Spanish language skills would be advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel across the Americas region as required.
