Capital Insurance Group (CIG) is seeking a Customer Manager to own and steward key customer relationships within an industry Practice. You will align insurance products, risk management services, and value-added offerings to meet evolving client needs.
You will collaborate across the organization to deliver coordinated solutions, act as the voice of the customer, and drive outcomes that improve satisfaction and retention in a hybrid, Reno-based work environment.
At Capital Insurance Group we offer our employees more than just a job. We foster career growth, provide opportunities to give back to our communities, and help you take the next step in your career!

At Capital Insurance Group (CIG), our Customer Managers play a unique and highly strategic role in shaping the customer experience. Rather than focusing on a single insurance product or line of business, Customer Managers serve as trusted advisors and advocates, helping customers navigate complex business, risk, and insurance challenges while delivering solutions tailored to their evolving needs.
This is a hybrid-eligible position, where Monday through Wednesday would be working in one of our offices, with Thursday and Friday eligible for work-from-home days. Office locations include: Reno (NV), Monterey (CA), Roseville (CA), Bakersfield (CA), Phoenix (AZ), and Spokane (WA).
The Customer Manager serves as the primary owner and steward of customer relationships within an assigned industry Practice alignment. Unlike traditional insurance roles that are organized around specific products or lines of business, the Customer Manager is responsible for understanding and managing the overall needs of the customer and ensuring that CIG delivers a coordinated, comprehensive solution to support customer success.
This role develops deep expertise in the assigned customer segment, including the operational, financial, regulatory, and risk-related challenges customers face. The Customer Manager works across the organization to align insurance products, risk management services, loss control resources, claims insights, technology solutions, and other value-added services to address customer needs and improve outcomes.
The Customer Manager serves as the voice of the customer within the organization, helping ensure strategic decisions, product offerings, and service capabilities remain aligned with customer expectations and emerging market needs.
