Job summary

BlueGrace Logistics LLC in Troy, MI is seeking an in-office Operations Manager with strong LTL experience. This data-driven, detail-oriented role manages customer accounts with a collaborative, strategic mindset, focusing on timely execution in a fast-paced environment.

The position is fully on-site in our Troy office. You will monitor the operations dashboard, analyze transportation data, develop improvements, and deliver weekly reviews and monthly reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or equivalent.
• 5+ years of LTL or FTL experience required.
• Experience with ERP/WMS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Daily communication between the customer and BG internal teams regarding operations.
• Proactively manage the operations dashboard to meet or exceed service commitments.
• Identify logistics trends and mitigate risks; pursue improvements.
• Manage systemic issues affecting account stability and health.
• Deliver weekly reviews and monthly reports to the customer.
• Develop and implement account-specific projects with milestones and progress tracking.
• Calculate ROI and impact for projects and communicate value.
• Perform root cause analysis for account issues, document actions, and lead to solutions.
• Escalate client critical issues to upper management and follow up with solutions.
• Create presentations and spreadsheets to manage accounts and share data with teams.
• Coordinate with internal BG departments to keep client accounts functioning smoothly.
