Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Customer Logistics to oversee daily operations and account management within a dynamic logistics environment. You will lead a team, plan staffing, and drive performance to meet client expectations while focusing on safety and compliance.

The role requires strong analytical abilities, exceptional communication, and proficiency in MS Office. You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and deliver superior customer service at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or related field preferred
• Two years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required
• One year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience required
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) is required
• Logistics industry knowledge is highly valued
• Knowledge of local and federal regulations affecting customers/ company operations is advantageous
• Fundamental knowledge of supply chain management components
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing and production processes

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations within assigned function
• Lead and develop direct reports, ensuring attainment of daily operational goals
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure health & safety compliance and regulatory adherence
• Collaborate with international teams to support customer logistics
• Communicate effectively with peers, customers and supervisors
• Maintain professional relationships across all levels of the organization
• Conduct data-driven decision making to address disruptions or crises
