Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Customer Logistics Manager in Port Deposit, MD. The role oversees daily operations, leads planning and scheduling, and ensures safety and regulatory compliance across the logistics function.

You will manage a team, drive customer satisfaction, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet business goals. The position is salaried with a pay range of $76,000 to $77,000 plus a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or related field preferred.
• Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required.
• One (1) year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience required.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) is required. advanced required
• Logistics industry knowledge advanced required
• Knowledge and understanding of Customer/Company local and Federal regulations. advanced required
• Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components. intermediate required
• Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production advanced required

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations within an assigned function and manage daily operational goals.
• Lead the day-to-day planning and scheduling, ensuring staffing and performance management of exempt and non-exempt employees.
• Ensure health and safety management and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain customer service satisfaction and expectation management.
• Provide leadership to direct reports and develop teams.
