Thales is hiring an experienced Technical Consultant CIAM in the Thales Cloud Protection & Licensing (CPL) Professional Services team. You will operate independently with minimal supervision and deliver Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) solutions and services to our customers. You will ensure the successful integration of our OneWelcome Identity Platform solution components within the customer’s environment and/or their integration with our cloud services.

This is a technical role that requires coordination of multiple internal stakeholder and external customer-facing responsibilities. The individual will work with cross-functional teams to scope services for Thales Data Protection and Identity and Access Management products.

Technical Consultant CIAM must be familiar with risk framework, compliance, and auditing controls required to implement Customer Identity Access Management (CIAM) on cloud-based resources.

Key Area of Responsibility

1. Manage professional services opportunities and customer engagement requests in the Americas region.
2. Responsible for taking a solution design and bringing it to life to deliver a CIAM solution that exceeds customer expectations.
3. Responsible for guiding customers and peer consultants and development teams during the implementation phase of the project.
4. Educates customers on related products, discovers new use cases, and positions potential professional services upsell opportunities.
5. Provide onsite or remote consulting services and support to Thales customers within the scope of Customer Identity & Access Management with a focus on high quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
6. Able to drive customers to implement a plan, minimize escalations, and secure PS invoicing in line with sales targets for projects.

Minimum Requirements:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, computer science, informational technology, or related fields.
2. 3-5 years of experience with Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) SaaS platform, Identity Management, Access Management, and Directory Services technologies.
3. Strong knowledge of Linux, Unix Server, Windows Server, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, and SCIM.
4. Proven experience leading projects in complex customer environments.
5. Experience with CI/CD tools, Docker/Kubernetes, Bower, and HTTP dev tools, Postman, REST APIs.
6. Experience with sequence diagrams and BPMN.
7. Solid understanding of cyber security and web application security.
