Job summary

U-Haul in Charlotte, NC is seeking friendly, energetic Warehouse Workers to help customers and move goods with care. You will operate equipment, load and unload containers, and ensure timely deliveries while maintaining a clean, safe storage facility.

The role includes on-the-job training, opportunities for advancement, and benefits eligible employees receive, such as health plans and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate an 8,000-lb propane forklift or truck-mounted forklift with training provided.
• Load and unload storage containers onto/off truck beds for delivery to/from a storage facility.
• Ensure timely delivery and provide customer assistance, including use of dispatch and rental systems.
• Perform customer-ready inspections of U-Box containers before dispatch and on return.
• Prepare and document delivery or pickup of goods, and keep the storage facility clean and secure.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
