Job summary

Trustmark in Alabama is seeking a Teller to satisfy customers by processing a variety of cash and non-cash transactions, and to safeguard cash or cash equivalents in their possession. A high school diploma or GED and at least six months of customer service are required.

Qualifications

High school graduate or GED.
At least six (6) months of customer service experience.
Basic knowledge of math concepts and principles.
Detail oriented — must be able to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Excellent customer service and sales skills.
Ability to greet the public professionally and follow service standards.
Ability to learn internal technology systems to perform work tasks.

Responsibilities

Represent Trustmark professionally when in contact with customers.
Process deposits and withdrawals and balance the till daily.
Identify customer needs for additional products and services and refer to sales staff.
Handle various transactions including checks, money orders, and other items.
Assist in maintaining security and accuracy of cash handling.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
