Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. is seeking a Teller to deliver friendly, accurate banking service in a branch environment. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing, while maintaining cash accuracy and security.

You will also educate customers on digital tools and route complex needs to specialists as appropriate. The role emphasizes service excellence, adherence to procedures, and collaboration with team members to support branch operations and risk / compliance

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to complete internal teller and product training.
• Willingness to travel to nearby branches as needed.

Responsibilities

• Process routine financial transactions with accuracy and cash drawer balance.
• Educate customers on digital banking tools.
• Assist with customer inquiries and refer to specialists when needed.
• Support lobby management and guide customers to the right team.
• Follow security, compliance, and internal controls.
• Maintain professional conduct and contribute to a positive work environment.
