Job summary

Responsibilities include verifying identity and funds, balancing cash, assisting customers with safety deposit boxes, cross-selling, processing night depository items, and complying with BSA policies.

Qualifications

• Intermediate to advanced math skills.
• Advanced communication skills, both in person and on the phone.
• Demonstrated proficiency handling and balancing cash.
• 10 key by touch and 25+ WPM.

Responsibilities

• Verify identity, signature and funds within policy guidelines.
• Maintain currency and coin supplies and be familiar with security/safety guidelines.
• Comply with balancing procedures/policies.
• Provide customer service assistance.
• Assist customers in/out of safety deposit boxes.
• Assist in cross-selling efforts of the bank.
• Process and verify night depository and mail transactions.
• Process stop payments, cash advances, changes of address and other special requests.
• Process sales of official checks and money orders.
• Perform duties as outlined in the BSA policy (CTR’s and monetary instrument logs).
