Job summary

Colonial Savings Colleyville, TX is seeking a Teller I to serve as the primary customer service provider for Colonial customers, handling cash transactions, paying and receiving, and processing mortgage payments while participating in cross-selling activities.

Responsibilities include verifying identity and funds per policy, maintaining currency and coin supplies, balancing procedures, providing excellent customer service, assisting with safety deposit boxes, and supporting cross-selling

Qualifications

• Intermediate to advanced math skills.
• Advanced communication skills, both in person and on the phone.
• Demonstrated proficiency handling and balancing cash.
• 10-key by touch and 25+ WPM.

Responsibilities

• Verify identity, signature and funds within policy guidelines.
• Maintain currency and coin supplies and be familiar with security/safety guidelines.
• Comply with balancing procedures/policies.
• Provide customer service assistance.
• Assist customers in/out of safety deposit boxes.
• Assist in cross-selling efforts of the bank.
• Process and verify night depository and mail transactions.
• Process stop payments, cash advances, changes of address and other special requests.
• Process sales of official checks and money orders.
• Perform duties as outlined in the BSA policy (CTR’s and monetary instrument logs).

Pay and receive all bank customers and mortgage transactions.
