Job summary

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months to one year of cash handling experience preferred.
• Good interpersonal communication and customer-service skills.
• Good computer skills including Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Handle comprehensive, prompt and efficient customer transactions.
• Receive checks and cash for deposits and loan payments, verify amounts and endorse as needed.
• Process credit card transactions.
• Balance cash drawer at end of shift and report discrepancies.
• Ensure teller station is stocked with forms and supplies.
• Cash checks and process withdrawals; verify signatures and customer balances.
• Count, check and package coins and currency.
• Assist with bank-by-mail and night depository functions as needed.
• Work assigned days and other days as required for staffing.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
