Qualifications

• High-school diploma or student working toward diploma.
• Six months to one year of cash handling experience in a customer-service environment.
• Good interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
• Good computer skills including Microsoft Office products.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that changes weekly.
• Able to stand or sit for extended periods while conducting transactions.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Process comprehensive, prompt and efficient customer transactions.
• Receive checks and cash for deposits and loan payments; verify amounts.
• Process credit card transactions.
• Balance cash drawer at end of shift and report discrepancies.
• Maintain teller station with forms and supplies.
• Cash checks and process withdrawals; verify signatures and balances.
• Count, check and package coins and currency.
• Assist with bank-by-mail and night depository functions as needed.
• Work assigned days and other days as required for staffing.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
