Dollar General is seeking a Sales Associate to serve as a friendly point of contact for customers in our New Albany store. You will help customers locate merchandise, operate the cash register, stock products, and maintain a clean, organized sales floor.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, accurate cash handling, and adherence to merchandising guidelines to maximize sales and protect company assets. This position is full-time and office relocation is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer purchases, collect payment and make change.
• Unpack, stock, restock, and rotate merchandise on shelves; build merchandise displays.
• Clean the store, take out trash, dust and mop floors, and assist with sidewalk displays.
