Job summary

Dollar General seeks a Sales Associate to serve as a friendly point of contact for customers. You will help shoppers locate items, operate the cash register, and maintain attractive shelves.

The role includes stocking, cleaning, and supporting store operations to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, basic math, and reliable cash-handling abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform store duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases, collect payment, bag merchandise.
• Follow merchandise processes; unpack, stock, restock, and rotate merchandise on shelves.
• Clean the store, take out trash, dust and mop floors, clean restrooms and receiving area.
