Job summary

You will greet customers, operate the cash register, handle transactions, assist with restocking, cleaning, and displays, and follow company policies to protect assets while delivering friendly service.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and prepare merchandise for sale.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; stock shelves and backroom as needed.
• Build and rotate merchandise displays and plan-o-grams.
• Stock, face and restock merchandise; manage replenishment.
• Assist customers in locating items and answer questions.
• Maintain store cleanliness, stockroom organization, and trash removal.
• Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
• Greet customers and provide friendly service.
• Operate cash register and handheld scanner to complete purchases.
• Collect payment, make change, and bag items for customers.
• Assist with ordering using handheld scanners when needed.
• Maintain storefront and sidewalk displays as required.
